Shunxin Fertilizer Machine & Production Line

What stages does organic fertilizer fermentation need to go through?

1. Fever stage
In the initial stage of composting, the microorganisms in the compost are mainly mesophilic and aerobic, and the common ones are non-spore bacteria, spore bacteria and mold. They start the fermentation process of compost, and vigorously decompose easily decomposed organic substances such as simple sugars, starch, protein, etc.
2.High temperature stage
As the temperature increases, thermophilic microorganisms gradually replace mesophilic species and play a leading role, and the temperature continues to rise, generally reaching above 50°C within a few days, entering the high temperature stage. In the high temperature stage, thermophilic actinomycetes and thermophilic fungi became the main species. They decompose the complex organic substances in the compost such as cellulose, hemicellulose, pectin substances, etc., and the compost temperature rises to 60-70°C, even as high as 80°C.

3.Cooling stage
When the high temperature stage lasts for a certain period of time, most of the cellulose, hemicellulose, and pectin substances have been decomposed, leaving complex components that are difficult to decompose (such as lignin) and newly formed humus, the activity of microorganisms weakens, and the temperature gradually decline. When the temperature dropped below 40°C, mesophilic microorganisms became the dominant species again.
4.Decomposing stage
After the compost is decomposed, the volume shrinks, and the compost temperature drops to slightly higher than the air temperature. At this time, the compost should be compacted to cause an anaerobic state and weaken the mineralization of organic matter to facilitate fertilizer preservation.
